Remove Hdd Controller Driver Registry

My sata hard drives are shown in the 'safely remove hardware' icon list and among 'devices'. I would like them not to show in this list, as they are obviously not removable. Safely remove hardware notification shows internal hard drives. The actual controller driver for P5Q (in the Intel INF pack) is Windows 8.1 certified, but.

The code '1327' means drive error..

So all you have to do is plug in another drive (or change a drive, if you have two) to 'Z'. And see if that cures the problem.
If you had to install any drivers for the drive in question then delete them in the 'add and delete' section. Hope this helps you.

1. Login with Administrative privileges.
 
2. Disconnect all USB or FireWire storage devices.
 
3. Open Registry Editor and navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMMountedDevices
 
4. Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMMountedDevices there will be registry keys with the name that resembles the format of DosDeviceX: where X can be any alphabet letter which corresponding to your physical system drive letter.

Although we've collected many IDE/SATA/SCSI/RAID drivers and built them into the ISO image of PCUnlocker, there are still plenty of hard disk drivers absent in the bootdisk you've created. If the bootdisk can't recognize your hard drive, you'll see the screen below:

As shown above, there isn't any SAM registry hive in the drop-down list. To make the bootdisk to recognize your hard drive and detect your SAM registry hive, you need to manually load your hard disk drivers on the fly after you've booted. Follow the instructions below:

Preparing for Loading Drivers
