I love how this book is set up...BUT, there is a major problem when the author refers to pictures that would have been in the book to help explain what he's talking about....it's like the audiobook should have come with a pdf of the tables and charts and pictures he refers to in most chapters! I wonder if they ever do that? Very informative book and very science-oriented understanding of how meditation does what it does. Some may call it a little geeky, but it works for me....the science behind...more

I loved this book and would have finished it earlier but slowed down to learn and practice the meditations. You will need the cd’s to do the meditations. Worth having this in book form as I think it’s a book I’ll keep going back to.

Excellent book!
Love it from the first to the last page. I already feel I am a different person just by reading it.

Much of this book didn't resonate with me though it did have a fair share of interesting ideas. ... My review contains a summary full of spoilers.
- He discussed a study about retrospective prayer. People prayed for a list of people's names who were in the hospital; however, these individuals had been in the hospital 10-15 years prior to the prayers. Those individuals who were prayed for did get better. This suggests that prayer has an eternal effect (past, present, and future).

I finished this book in March and have immediately started from page one, because I love it! This is what helped me through cancer, but I just dived straight into the meditations from this and his other book. I get powerful results with this material and I intend to make these mediations part of my daily routine now.
Listened to this on audible. Enjoyed but sadly didn't finish because it got a bit too whimsical for my taste. The book starts as a meditative introduction and then looks deeper to a theory of intrinsic energy of all things. Part science, part hippy-juju. While interesting to ponder, the theories Dispenza entertains are very abstract. I humbly resign from judging the validity of this idea though.
Excellent read!! Recommended for everyone, who wants to be successful.
excellenct! It takes time but it's worth it. I've learn to re-act in different way. I start new things, Im more present and counsious

With each meditation track at a little bit over an hour each, these meditations are a bit of an investment in time. Dr. Dispenza tries to break them into manageable sections with a 'bell' sound (which is a hilarious short sounding ring that goes like 'donk' instead of the drawn out, relaxing 'riiiiiiiing' that I'm used to hearing on meditation CDs) but once I was in the middle of the track, I found myself reluctant to turn it off so I just went through the whole meditation in one sitting. Dr. Di...more
I did enjoy the explanations in this book and the practical applications to meditate. I purchased the audio downloads. They were a bit slow for me. Good, not great.
