Even those among us Saintly enough to actually buy their music have been deemed 'not worthy' of entire chunks of core content, ie, Lost It All only being legally available in the Super Limited Edition Deluxe Overpriced iTunes edition of Nightmare. WELL NO MORE I SAY! I have compiled what I believe is the most thorough compilation of Avenged Sevenfold works IN EXISTENCE. No seriously, it actually is. It has all six core albums in .flac and 320Kbps .mp3, Pinkly Smooth, All Excess, the 1999 & 2000 demo albums, the 'making of's that came as an MVI on the Self-Titled Album DVD, six live albums, and just about every other varying version or single or bootleg or audio file A7X is responsible for, all conveniently organized in a logical folder structure. I've even meticulously edited all the tags and images and what-not, as well as having adjusted volume gain for all the files for equalization purposes.
By the time I finish, I probably will have spent over two days having worked on this, 'two days' meaning 48 hours of doing nothing but organizing folders, downloading files, and carefully combing the Internet in search for some very elusive files. In my hunt, some notable events included buying a rapidgator premium membership because the 2.4 GB .rar file was located no where else on the Internet, downloading a 7 GB torrent that had one seeder, and having to use a special program just to extract video files from my RAM cache that were being viewed on an obscure Russian site.
For all this work, it'd just seem like a waste if only I had access to it. It invokes a feeling of emptiness in me to think that many of Avenged Sevenfold's performances will never again have an audience. Thus, I propose that we find a way to propagate my Avenged Sevenfold Everythingography. But I don't even know how to go about starting that. It's like a fifteen GB file. I could maybe upload it to Rapidgator, but most people don't have a paid subscription to there. I couldn't start a Torrent, since there's no way my ISP would let me upload that much. If I could get it into the hands of a few other people, it'd be easy to get a Torrent popular, since it will snowball.
EDIT: Well this post seems to be getting good reception, and this subreddit really seems to have a sense of community. For those two reasons, I don't think it'd be too much of a stretch to make these two propositions:
I: Since there doesn't seem to be an existing HQ version of All Excess anywhere on the Internet, what if like 8 people PayPaled me a dollar each, so that I could buy the physical DVD and then rip a 720p .avi for you guys?
II: In 2005, MTV2 aired an 18 minute long 'Making of Bat Country', the only remaining evidence of which is a sub-240p video on YouTube with a third of it missing. And that seems to be the only version in existence. This is ambitious, but what if we worked together and got a bunch of people to write Avenged Sevenfold about getting them to release a version?
